Our preview night and first official day of business are in the can and both went better than we could have imagined! It especially meant a ton to me that my brother David and sister-in-law Miranda came out from Nashville to see us on our way, and the chocolate covered strawberries that my Aunt Karen sent down from New Jersey were just the sugar rush we needed to get through a long new release day!
Now it's on to the day-to-day, which means cooking up special stuff to make you guys love comics even MORE!
If you head over to the event page, you'll notice that we're throwing our first book release party on Wednesday, May 3rd with cartoonist Gregg Schigiel for his new Image Comics graphic novel Pix: Too Super For School! In addition to getting Gregg sign your personal copy, I'll be happy to scribble in it, too, since I color assisted on about 85%!
And we also announced our plans for our first Free Comic Book Day celebration! We're thrilled to have set up shop in Comic Book City, USA, and we know the day means the world to its citizens, so we just hope we can live up to their expectations doing things the Ssalefish way!
And finally that Thor Ragnarok trailer, right?! We sold our first appearance of Planet Hulk off the wall yesterday, but we DO still have a complete set of issues available for $150 and the paperback for $34.99 if you want to stay ahead of the hype!
