Ssalefish First Look #5 for 5.3.17

As excited as I am to be throwing our first Free Comic Book Day celebration next Saturday, I might be more jazzed to put on our first in-store signing next Wednesday evening, May 3rd with my good friend Gregg Schigiel as he launches the second volume of his all-ages graphic novel series from Image Comics, Pix: Too Super For School!

Full disclosure, I have a vested interest in the book as I was not only an advance reader/ proofreader like I was on volume one, but also the color assistant/ flatter for about 85% of the book!

Gregg comes to us via New York City, and I can't wait for him to check out the new store alongside Chris Giarrusso (G-Man, Mini Marvels) and local staple Brian "Smitty" Smith (Tree Mail, The Stuff of Legend)! All three of those guys will be happy to sign and sketch for FREE from 5-8 PM!

It's a great way to kick off a week that, alongside Guardians vol. 2 and FCBD, is sure to be one of the best ever for comics!
